A patient of Dr. Joshua Willey has gone public with her stroke story, in support of Dr. Willey’s efforts to get the general public to understand that avoiding hospitals for fear of being exposed to COVID-19 could have more dire consequences than catching the virus. Dr. Willey encourages people to “review the symptoms associated with both strokes and heart attacks and know that acting quickly could make all the difference.” A multimedia version of this patient story is available in Spanish, as well.
