Overview

Stella Maniquis is a pediatric nurse practitioner with the Division of Child Neurology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. She attended the University of Georgia for their pre-nursing program and then transferred to the Medical College of Georgia satellite campus in Athens, GA for her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. After school, she worked as a nurse at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston on the neurology/neurosurgery floor for five years. While working, she received her Masters of Science in Nursing for Pediatric Primary Care at Georgia State University. She then worked as a travel nurse and came to NewYork-Presbyterian Morgan Stanley Children's Hospital as a nurse in the emergency room and neurology/cardiology floor on 6 Tower. After completing her travel assignment, she worked as nurse practitioner for a community health center in a school based health center. She returned back to her love of neurology and has been working at Columbia University Irving Medical Center since September 2018.
