Lindsay Plunkett, PhD

Dr. Plunkett completed her undergraduate studies at Kansas State University, and earned her Masters and Doctorate from Columbia University. She completed her pre-doctoral internship at Rusk Institute for Rehabilitation Medicine with a primary focus in pediatrics. She performed her post-doctoral work here at CUIMC within the Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, receiving advanced training in neuropsychological assessment of patients across the lifespan with epilepsy and other neurological disorders. Her post-doctoral fellowship also included training in specialized procedures, including the Wada test and intra/extra-operative cortical language mapping, as well as collaboration on research in language and memory. Dr. Plunkett’s clinical and research activities now focus on neuropsychological evaluation of children and adolescents with acute and chronic neurological disorders. She also provides psychotherapeutic consultation to patients and their families considering surgical treatment for refractory epilepsy.
