Esther Kim, ACNP-BC

Ms. Kim received her BA in Biological Science from Rutgers University in 2002, her BS in Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing in 2004, and her Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree from Columbia University School of Nursing in 2008. She has worked at York-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center since 2004, where she began as an RN on Medical Oncology Unit and transitioned as a critical care RN on Neurological Intensive Care Unit until 2011. After becoming an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, Ms. Kim worked in Neurology Hospitalist Service at Columbia University Irving Medical Center where she provided primary critical care of acutely ill patients with various neurological disorders. In 2015, she transitioned to the Division of Neuro-Oncology, where she specializes in providing care to patients with brain & spinal tumors and brain metastases. Ms. Kim is adept at managing chemotherapy regimens of brain tumor patients, as well as managing many neurological and chemotherapy-related symptoms.
