Dr. Randolph Marshall Awarded the 2019 C. Miller Fisher, MD Neuroscience Visionary Award

Randolph Marshall, MD, Elisabeth K. Harris Professor of Neurology and chief of the Division of Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease in the Department of Neurology at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons has been awarded the 2019 C. Miller Fisher, MD Neuroscience Visionary Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association (AHA/ASA).

Dr. Marshall, who is also co-director of the Mobile Stroke Unit and an attending neurologist on the Stroke Service at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center, received this honor in recognition of his many significant contributions to the field of stroke. These include his ongoing, groundbreaking research on cerebral hemodynamics (CREST-H) and cognitive function (RECON), which have greatly impacted the landscape of patient care.

Dr. Marshall will be accepting the 2019 C. Miller Fisher, MD Neuroscience Visionary Award and giving the Keynote Address on his latest research and clinical focus at the 14th Annual Northeast Cerebrovascular Consortium Summit on October 24-25, 2019 at The Boston Marriott Copley Place, Boston, MA.
